Soprano- 2 octaves above middle C

• Soprano 1- the high range soprano
• Soprano 2- the low range soprano

Alto- The Contralto voice is the lowest among the female voices, and it is certainly more unique among females, as the typical female voices would probably either be the Soprano or Mezzo Soprano voices.

• Alto 1- the high range alto
• Alto 2- the low range alto

Tenor- The typical tenor voice lies between C₃, the C one octave below middle C, to the A above middle C (A₄) in choral music, and up to high C (C₅) in solo work. The low extreme for tenors is roughly B♭2 (two B♭s below middle C).

Base- A bass is a type of male singing voice and possesses the lowest vocal range of all voice types.
