5-day Vacation: August 29, 2011, 4th day (part 4)

Chores! Chores! Chores! What am I going to do?
Clean up this! Clean up that!
Make sure this house is sparkly white!

But I have to do these chores for me to hold my laptop again.

Today would be a perfect day! But I ended up doing chores.
First get plenty of rice for us to eat.

 Then wash the dishes.

and I think that will happen to ME!!!

I also wiped the windows.

I wish I was GARFIELD. Doing nothing everyday except sleep, eat lasagna, and bully poor odie.

Today I don't feel like doing anything. (cheverlou , cheverlou)

I will write about the seminar yesterday.

Elements of Singing

Soprano- 2 octaves above middle C

• Soprano 1- the high range soprano
• Soprano 2- the low range soprano

Alto- The Contralto voice is the lowest among the female voices, and it is certainly more unique among females, as the typical female voices would probably either be the Soprano or Mezzo Soprano voices.

• Alto 1- the high range alto
• Alto 2- the low range alto

Tenor- The typical tenor voice lies between C₃, the C one octave below middle C, to the A above middle C (A₄) in choral music, and up to high C (C₅) in solo work. The low extreme for tenors is roughly B♭2 (two B♭s below middle C).

Base- A bass is a type of male singing voice and possesses the lowest vocal range of all voice types.

5-day Vacation: August 27, 2011, 2nd Day (part 2)

Today I'll write about the lecture that I have heard. It's not the exact words because I only jot down words that for me is important.

I will mention 4 stars:
1. Sun
The Sun is the star at the center of the Solar System. It is almost perfectly spherical and consists of hot plasma interwoven with magnetic fields. It has a diameter of about 1,392,000 km, about 109 times that of Earth, and its mass (about 2×10³⁰ kilograms, 330,000 times that of Earth) accounts for about 99.86% of the total mass of the Solar System. Chemically, about three quarters of the Sun's mass consists of hydrogen, while the rest is mostly helium. Less than 2% consists of heavier elements, including oxygen, carbon, neon, iron, and others.

If the sun has a size of a beach ball, the moon would have a size of a golfball and the earth will have a size of a dot.


2. Betelgeuse

Classified as a red supergiant, Betelgeuse is one of the largest and most luminous stars known. If it were at the center of our Solar System, its surface would extend past the asteroid belt possibly to the orbit of Jupiter and beyond, wholly engulfing Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. However, with distance estimates in the last century that have ranged anywhere from 180 to 1,300 light years from Earth, calculating its diameter, luminosity and mass have proven difficult. Betelgeuse is currently thought to lie around 640 light years away, yielding a mean absolute magnitude of about −6.05.

If the Earth has the size of a golf ball, Betelgeuse would have a size of 2 Golden Gate Bridges (end to end) or 4 San Juanico Bridges (end to end).


3. Mu Cephei
Mu Cephei (μ Cep, μ Cephei), also known as Herschel's Garnet Star, is a red supergiant star in the constellation Cepheus. It is one of the largest and most luminous stars known in the Milky Way. It appears garnet red and is given the spectral class of M2Ia.

If the earth has the size of a golfball, Mu Cephei would have a size of 6 Empire state building.


4. Canis Majoris
VY Canis Majoris (VY CMa) is currently the largest known star and also one of the most luminous. Located in the constellation Canis Major, it is a red hypergiant, between 1800 and 2100 solar radii, 8.4–9.8 astronomical units in radius, 3.063 billion km or 1.7 billion miles in diameter, and about 1.5 kiloparsecs (4,900 light years, 4.6×10¹⁶ km or 2.9×10¹⁶ mi) distant from Earth. Unlike most hypergiant stars, which occur in either binary or multiple star systems, VY CMa is a single star.

If the earth has the size of a golfball, Canis Majoris would have a size of Mt. Everest.

5-day Vacation: August 26, 2011, 1st Day (part 1)

"BORING!!!" is the only word that you can say.
When I woke up this morning, I'm so excited because today is the day of the Filipino Culminating activities. But when I got my phone and read all the message I suddenly realized that Isabela is in signal number 3!!! So I told myself "gee! another day of rest and boredom".

I went downstairs and watched the TV for news and it says there "signal #3 : Isabela, Cagayan, Aurora", then I told myself again, "paano yung isda?".

Then I told my lola "la wala kamu gid sulod"
Then she said "matulog ka ulit gani"

But I can't sleep anymore, so I'd watched Cartoon Network and send group messages saying there are no classes. Then suddenly something went wrong on the signal of Cartoon Network. So I just keep texting everybody.

Then I ate and went upstairs and go online and chat with my mom and friends.

And I know what am I going to do later I'll eat and go to sleep.

BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I realized that all the signs that I've kept on praying is happening.

1st sign: I prayed that when I see things that is related to him, I will believe on what they're saying about. And I saw the school bus he used to ride onto.

2nd sign: I also saw his sister and waved goodbye at me.

Sweet Honesty

Born on the 21st day of March, the first day of spring, Faye Dorothy Hannah O. Lim a 3rd year student at Santiago City National High School.

Yes, that's me!!! I am a girl, full of dreams, and much more full of FUN.

I like to interact with people i know and somehow i find it FUN.

But before that, do you know me 14 years ago? YES, 14 years ago of fun, love, and pain.

Here's what happened:

March 21, 1997, friday evening.

My mother was rushed to the hospital for the reason of giving birth to her first baby (that's ME). After how many hours of labor, I was delivered safely. And given the name of Faye Dorothy Hannah because of my CUTENESS!!!

I studied at an early age of 4 at Santiago Adventist Elementary School. Transferred at Cagayan Valley Christian Leading School. And enrolled at Santiago City National High School.

I am an adventurous person, optimistic and other fun stuffs
...
